Kaloud Aeolis Hoses

The Kaloud Aeolis is a woven hookah hose with a solid wood handle and stainless steel fittings. The core is platinum cured silicone, treated to resist bacteria and fungus. It washes out and it does not carry flavour between sessions.

Most hose problems are the same problem. Whatever you smoked last week is still in there. Leather never really cleans. Cheap silicone tastes like silicone. The Aeolis core rinses under a tap and dries neutral, which is the entire reason to spend this much on a hose.

The five finishes

The handles are real wood, so grain and colour vary from piece to piece. Yours will not look exactly like the photograph. That is what wood does.

Why the weave matters

The braided outer sleeve is not decoration. It stops the silicone kinking when the hose loops across a table or hangs off the side of a hookah. A kinked hose chokes the draw and you will blame the bowl.

Cleaning it

Run warm water through the core after a heavy session and hang it to dry with the handle down. Do not soak the wood handle and do not put any of it in a dishwasher. If a flavour ever ghosts, a rinse with warm water and a little lemon clears it.

Is it washable?

Yes. The platinum cured silicone core is designed to be rinsed. Keep water off the wood handle.

Will it fit my hookah?

It fits Kaloud hookahs directly and standard hose ports. A grommet is included where one is needed.

Does the wood handle vary?

Yes. Natural wood, so the colour runs lighter or darker than the photo.

What is the difference between the finishes?

Weave colour, wood, and metal tone. The hose itself is identical across all five.

Why is silicone better than leather?

It cleans. Leather absorbs and eventually every session tastes faintly of the last one.
